The biggest national digital art design playground using Adobe software – ACAWC 2021 has officially launched by a joint effort between Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and IIG Vietnam.

In Vietnam, after 3 successful seasons with achievements to be proud of, the ACAWC is not only a place to test the passion for designing, but also a step to help the youth achieve success in work and study.

Going to the 2021 season, with the determination of pushing COVID-19 back from the government and the community, the Organizers want the ACAWC will be held successfully in order to let the youth who has a passion for designing have a meaningful playground this year.

ACAWC – Well-known digital art design playground

The Adobe Certified Associate World Championship – ACAWC is a playground created annually from 2013 by Certiport to let the youth show their skills in using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. This competition is for students from 13 to 22 years old on a global scale and attracts thousands of participants from 70 countries and territories every year. In the International Final round, the Vietnamese team has let a huge mark with a Bronze medal for Nguyễn Trần Thảo Nguyên (2018) and People’s Choice prize for Nguyễn Thanh (2019), especially when the world only have 1 medallist (1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze, 1 People’s Choice prize).

03 separate competition groups, chances divided equally to participants

The competition is divided into 3 distinctive groups for 3 different target participants: group A for universities, academies; group B for colleges; group C for secondary and high schools. This not only brings fairness in judging between each level of education but also increases chances to get the prizes, encouraging participants to participate in this playfield with the highest spirit.

With this distinctive division, the prize structure includes 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize, 2 Consolation prizes for each group, with the total value of the prizes to estimate hundreds of millions of dongs.

After the national round, the Organizer will select 3 best participants from 3 groups to represent Vietnam to compete in the International Final round. This round will only have 1 Gold-Silver-Bronze medallist with 7.000 USD, 3.500 USD, and 1.500 USD respectively for each medal as the prizes. Participants who are in the top 10 and People’s Choice prize will also get 250 USD.

Get the well-known digital art design certificate

In ACAWC in Vietnam, each participant will compete in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Each part is 50 minutes and has a maximum score of 1000. Participants who get 700/1000 or better score will receive an international Adobe certificate signed by the President of Adobe and have worldwide recognition. This is a useful and crucial tool to create an impressive resume and be ready for future designing work.
