6.SCORE CONVERSION TABLE

Starting January 21, 2026, the TOEFL iBT score report uses a new 1–6 scoring scale, providing a more intuitive alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The overall score is calculated as the average of all four sections, rounded to the nearest half-band.

7. TEST VALIDITY

The TOEFL iBT score report is valid for two years from the test date.

10. POST-TEST SERVICES

The post-test verification service is applicable to score reports that remain valid under ETS regulations. Institutions may submit a request for the service (with an official seal and signature) by email to haukiem@iigvietnam.edu.vn.

Regarding the TOEFL iBT Home Edition: Test takers register for and take the test directly through the ETS system. Currently, IIG Vietnam neither administers this test nor provides post-test verification services for it in Vietnam. Test takers should research and carefully consider the acceptability of this score report for their specific purposes before registering for the TOEFL iBT Home Edition.
